SOCIAL ISSUES:

Abortion:Completely ban partial-birth,or late-term,abortions,More on this issue later.

Gambling:Allowing more casinos would bring more money into the Government,and would thus provide incentive for the government to cut taxes.So,obiviously,I support allowing for the construction of more casinos.

Gays and Gay Rights: I firmly agree with those who say that gay Americans deserve to have the rights and privileges that heterosexual Americans have in today`s societly,whether that be in the military,running for office,recieving an education without fear of bigotry or phsyical abuse,as we saw in the tragic case of Matthew Shepard twelve years ago in October 1998.Just because a person happens to live a certain lifestyle and way of life that many of us would never personally live themselves,does NOT mean that they are any less human or capable of human feelings than straight men and women are.And to treat gays as something that`s disgusting is disgusting in itself and really very closedminded.Recently on this site I proposed a bill that would repeal the Don`t Ask Don`t Tell policy that was enacted by former President Bill Clinton in 1993.And if I ever had the honor of being elected President,that very bill would go from being a pretend bill on a pretend website to being a real-life bill in a real-life World

Second Amendment Rights:All citizens with no violent criminal history and a stable state of mind should be able to freely express their rights granted them by the Second Amendment of the United States Constituion,tax-free.

Prostituion:Prostituion is a victimless crimes,and in a way,is related to the gay marriage debate.Two consenting people wishing to have sex should not have to worry about prosecuted .

Seat Belt Laws:As I have stated in one of my more recent blog entries,mandatory seat belt laws is just another way for the Government to "legally" steal your money.Remaining in accordance with the United States Constituion requires that these unconstionsal laws be abolished.

FOREIGN AFFAIRS

DeepWater Horizon Oil Spill and British Petroleum:This recent disaster in the Gulf of Mexico is obiviously a horrific situation,and all Americans have been heartbroken not only by the lives of the 11 workers in the oil rigg who apparently did not survive the explosion on April 20,but by the reports of fish and wildlife who have died as a result of the enviromental impact,the impact on the local economy in Louisana,and the beaches which are now being blackened by oil.And if we have learned anything from the mess,it would have to be the same lessons taught us by Hurricane Katrina five years ago:this kind of scenario must be allowed to happen again.And so,I agree with the Obama Administration that tough,legal action must be taken against British Petroleum,and along with criminal charges made against the appropiate officials,All funds for the cleanup must be paid by British Petroleum,not at extra cost to taxpayers who have already endured headches caused by this mess.
