David, there's a differene between having "no experience whatsoever," and having some. Prior to the campaign Obama had some. It wasn't as much as McCain or Biden, but he still had some. Palin, on the other hand, had zilch, nada, none. And it was clearly evident by her rhetoric, and how she conducted, well, still conducts herself. Personally, I don't care if Palin had executive experience, even though it was limited to some time as Mayor of a town that's 1/5 the size of Chicago, where she raised taxes, raised government, and raised debt, or with her short tenure as Governor. As I've said before, I would take McCain over Palin any day of the week, with no questions asked. Heck, if he ran a campaign, with respect to the issues, like he did in 2000, I may even take him over some Democrats. But that wasn't the case in 2008. One thing I will give him credit for is running a mildly honest campaign. There's no doubt in my mind that it would have been, and still could be, much worse if Palin is the candidate. She would run a scorched earth campaign, I guarantee it.
